THE CITY CENTER

PASEO DE LA REFORMA

Use: Hablar acerca de acciones y hechos del pasado.
Affirmative form: el preterito simple de los verbos regulares acaban en ed sujeto + verbo + complemento.

- Los verbos que terminan en (e) solo añaden D: asì live- lived
- Los verbos terminados en consonantes mas (Y) cambian por ( IE ), play - plaied, study - studied
- El pasado se emplea amenudo con los adverbios yesterday, last week, last night, last month, last years, ago...
Negative form. Poner did not y/o didn't antes del verbo.
Formula de aplicacion: Sujeto + did not + verb + resto de la oracion

Para describir los sustantivos contables, se utilizan los siguientes cuantificadores.
Para oracion afirmativa: There are - hay

Para la forma negativa: there aren't - no hay
Examples: There aren't any potatoes
There aren't many carrots
There aren't two packets of cigarattes.
Forma interrogativa: Are there?

UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS
Para describir los sustantivos incontables se usan los siguientes cuantificadores:
Oraciòn afirmativa: There is - hay
Example: There is a lot of milk
There is little milk
There is some milk
Oraciòn negativa: There isn't (niega) - no hay
Example: There isn't much milk
There isn't coffee in my cup
There isn't any water in my glass
Forma interrogativa: Is there much? / how much? (cuanto?)

A lot of, little, some - para la oraciòn afirmativa.
Much- no, any- para la oraciòn negativa.

USE: El modal can se utiliza con verbos y añade un significado especial como la mayoria de los modales. Can tiene mas de un significado.
Meaning - significados
